Fundraise for Safe Paws

In the early stages of this passion project, our goal is to raise as many funds as we can.  The more donations we receive, the sooner the clinic will be able to provide the animals of Negril the support they so badly need.

Whether you take part in a personal challenge or hold your own fundraising event, every little bit helps!

Even the smallest donations help Safe Paws improve the lives of animals In Negril.  As a new charity, we need funds for the center's construction, veterinary equipment, food, medication supplies, etc.   Together we can make this happen!

There are many ways you can raise funds for Safe Paws. Please feel free contact us at inquiries@safepawsnegril.com if you'd like help brainstorming  – or to share your suggestions for a fundraising events.

You may wish to organize a group of friends and an event to fundraise for Safe Paws – plan an event and fundraise for animals in need.  Here are just a few great ideas;

  • Networking. Support Safe Paws through your business or veterinary clinic by utilizing your client base and industry contacts.

  • Sponsored Dog Wash. Dogs are undeniably the most popular pets both in the UK and worldwide. If you're passionate about supporting a cause that cares for canines, consider organizing a pet wash event. By charging a small fee for the service, you'll  attract a rush of pet owners. Sponsorship from a pet shop can provide the opportunity to offer grooming services as well.

  • Coffee. Consider tapping into the fundraising potential of this popular morning ritual. People are going to buy it anyway, so why not give them the opportunity to support a worthwhile cause with their money. Add snacks to the menu to generate additional funds.

  • Community Fun Run. You stay in shape when you run alone but you feel connected when you run in the company of others.  A sponsored group run provides an opportunity to raise funds while bringing your community closer together.

  • Abseiling Challenge. For those who would like to push themselves out of their comfort zone, consider abseiling.  While not as dangerous as skydiving or paragliding, it will still make most people weak at the knees.  Abseiling's popularity makes it a good fundraising opportunity. Consider seeking sponsorship from friends, family and related businesses like outdoor adventure stores.

  • Neighborhood Outreach. Talk to your neighbours and see whom you can help out with a small donation.  As well as fundraising for your cause you will be helping your neighbours and creating an opportunity to foster community relations, catch up with old friends, and meet new people.

  • Bungee Jumping Challenge. If you are adventurous, inviting donors to sponsor a bungee jump on a special occasion is a fun and unique way to fundraise. The thrilling nature of the sport will generate excitement and encourage donors.  But please ensure you are adequately insured, and above all else, put safety first.

  • Garage sale.  Have you got items to sell? Old whatnots cluttering up your closets?  Hold a garage sale and invite your community by handing out flyers or leaflets to advertise.  Make sure to clearly explain the cause and invite all the animal lovers you know. Bake some cakes or cookies to attract foot traffic, and have fun!!
